$5 Million Grassroots Campaign Will Fuel Work to Elect Barnes and Defeat Ron Johnson

MADISON, Wis. – Family Friendly Action PAC is proud to endorse Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes in the race for U.S. Senate this November.

“Mandela Barnes has proven to be a candidate who stands for the issues that matter most to working families across Wisconsin, and Family Friendly Action PAC is excited to support him as he runs to replace Senator Ron Johnson,” said Brita Olsen, Family Friendly Action PAC Wisconsin State Director. “Unlike Senator Johnson, we know Barnes will advocate tirelessly for families as our next U.S. Senator from Wisconsin.”

Working people and families across the Badger State deserve a senator that will fight for policies that uplift and empower them. These policies include: affordable prescription drugs; paid family and medical leave; reliable, affordable elder care; and affordable, quality child care.

Barnes has committed to working to lower costs for working families, such as lowering the costs of health care and prescription drugs and helping to increase access to affordable, high-quality child care. Barnes also supports paid family and medical leave policies, as well as affordable, quality elder care.

“For working families across Wisconsin, we will work to ensure Mandela Barnes is elected as our next Senator,” Olsen said. “It is past time for Ron Johnson to go.”

Previously, Family Friendly Action PAC announced a $5 million independent expenditure that will fuel a robust organizing program to defeat Senator Ron Johnson and elect the next Democrat to the Senate, who will be Barnes.
